Another Morning in the Saddle
28th March 2017
So after much pain and discomfort, last week I finally flashed the cash and purchased a new saddle. This is what my life now consists of, getting excited about a saddle. Candice to my knowledge has not had a problems in the saddle department and if she has, she is not letting on about it. I wish I could say the same. For the last few weeks, it’s like I have been sitting on razorblades. So we ventured out into the Dorset countryside this morning and I have to admit I was a little apprehensive. The thought of walking like John Wayne for the rest of the week weighted heavy on my mind. 38.41 miles later and I’m pleased to report that I still feel human. My thanks to the chaps from Off Camber Blandford who were particularly patient with me and my moaning at just how much my backside hurts.
Having checked on Just giving, I see that we have raised so far £880.00 for Cancer research UK and React. Candice and I would like to thank you all for your kind donation. Still a little way to go to reach the target. So please dig deep, and donate to our worthy charities.
